Hello Parrotheads,

The Ocala club has been busy, but not good about updating parts our website!! I am TRYING to be a better volunteer!

Our most recent road trip to Cedar Key to hear club favorite, ROB PECK, perform with JIMMY FROG at Frog’s Landing was a big hit. Thanks to all of you who came out on very cold, wet weekend! The Fire Department appreciated our donation as well.

Plan to wear your club shirt to our March meeting and your best Hawaiian shirt to our April meeting.

We are still collecting “pop tops” for the Ronald McDonald houses but the Orlando drop off is a long drive! We’ll get there before long! In the meantime, keep bringing your donations to the meetings. We have a carload already!

Our club is currently nominating and electing new officers so stayed tuned for those results.

We will have some community service projects coming up next month. Check the website for details! We also plan to clean up the beautiful Rainbow River on May 13. Stay tuned for the details from Sharon.

We have sent several packages to our very own, Bryan Masters in Iraq. Bryan has shared our gifts with his fellow Air Force friends! Our very own “ Bear Bryan”  has been traveling around to help Bryan feel a little bit of Margaritaville in his soul while he is in Iraq. Most recently, Bear Bryan flew Seacoast Airlines with retired Air Force pilot, Dan, to Key West for a little R and R on the island. He bumped into some of the most interesting people and even got to do a bit of work at Margaritaville. Look for more photos on the website soon.

Happy Spring,

Kathy
